ROAD & RACING LININGS
Classic Brake services has been established since 1989. Ian Campbell, renovates drum brakes for road, racing, trials and motor cross motorcycles.Completely blueprinting a brake assembly really makes a difference using the best lining materials. After inspecting a bare shoe, a new length of lining is bonded and clamped to the shoe and cured in an industrial oven. The lining is then riveted in place, the material trimmed at each end and finished on a linisher. The brake assembly is then placed on the small lathe and skimmed to match the drum diameter. Drums in poor condition can be skimmed off site on a local engineers large lathe.
